The ground rules for using plump.com and buying from us, in as plain English as we can manage.
About these terms
plump.com is operated by Sequence Research Group LLC ("plump", "we", "us" or "our"), 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. These terms apply to your use of plump.com and to every order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.
Our products
plump products are cosmetics for external use only. Follow the directions on the product page and packaging, patch-test new products, avoid the eye area unless a product is made for it, and stop using a product if irritation occurs. Check the full ingredient list on each product page if you have allergies or sensitivities.
Nothing on plump.com is medical advice. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and statements on the site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Results vary from person to person, and before-and-after images and reviews show individual experiences.
Prices, availability and errors
Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise, and may change at any time. Product colours and images may differ slightly from the product you receive.
We try hard to get everything right, but if we discover an error in a price, description or availability, we may correct it and cancel affected orders, even after you've placed them. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we refund you in full.
Orders and payment
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we dispatch it. We may refuse or limit any order, for example where a product is out of stock, we suspect fraud or resale, or an order breaks these terms.
Payments are processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers. You confirm that you're authorised to use the payment method you give us. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Auto-refill subscriptions
When you choose auto-refill, you agree to a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel:
- Price: 25% off the one-time price of the products in your auto-refill, plus free US shipping on every order. Sales tax is added where it applies.
- Frequency: a new order every 45 days from your first order, unless you change the schedule.
- Payment: we charge your saved payment method for each order on its scheduled date. If a payment fails, we may retry it and will tell you how to update your details.
- Reminders: we email you a reminder before each order is charged.
- Cancelling: skip, reschedule, swap, pause or cancel any time from your account, online, with no minimum number of orders. Cancel before an order is processed to avoid that charge. Cancelling stops future orders; it doesn't refund orders already charged (see our Return & Refund Policy).
- Changes: if we change the price or terms of your auto-refill, we'll email you first, and you can cancel before the change applies.
Free gifts and promotions
Free gifts come with the first order of an auto-refill protocol where the offer says so, while stocks last. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged.
Discount codes and offers apply only under their stated conditions and dates, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be combined unless we say so. One code per order. We may end or change a promotion at any time, but this won't affect orders already placed.
Shipping, returns and our guarantee
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Refunds, returns and our 60-day empty-bottle guarantee are covered by our Return & Refund Policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your login details safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Text messages
If you sign up for texts from plump, our Mobile Terms of Service also apply.
Reviews and content you share
If you post a review, photo or other content, or send it to us, you confirm that it's yours, that it's honest and reflects your own experience, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit for length and display it in connection with plump, including in marketing, with your first name and last initial. We may remove content at our discretion.
Using the site
Please don't:
- use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
- buy products to resell without our written agreement;
- copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the site by automated means;
- interfere with the site's security or operation, or upload viruses or harmful code;
- impersonate anyone or give us false information.
Intellectual property
Everything on plump.com, including text, photography, video, graphics, product names and the plump name and logo, belongs to plump or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the site for your own personal shopping only.
Third-party services
Parts of the site are provided by third parties, such as Shopify for the store and checkout, our payment providers, and our subscription provider for the auto-refill portal. Their own terms may also apply. Links to third-party sites are for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
Disclaimers
We provide the site as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms and our policies, and we don't promise the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free. This doesn't affect any warranties or rights you have by law.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, plump isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Indemnity
You agree to cover plump's reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) from claims arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. If you live in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
