A plant extract from the seeds of the babchi plant. It's known as the gentle retinol alternative: it's not a retinoid, but it's used for a similar job, smoother-looking skin and softer-looking lines.
No. Bakuchiol is a different ingredient, and we don't claim it does everything retinol does. People choose it because it's known for being gentle and easy to use every night.
Last, at night. Cleanse, Exofacial, Pep Step, moisturiser, then 3–4 drops of Beauty Sleep pressed over the top.
Not on the same night as Lunchtime Peel: use one or the other. On Fresh Start evenings, it's fine if your skin feels comfortable; if it's sensitive, alternate.
We made it for night: it's an oil, so it's the last step, and it's happiest without makeup and SPF on top. Mornings are for Sunny Side Up Vitamin C Serum.
3–4 drops is plenty for face and neck. Press it in rather than rubbing, and give it a few minutes before your head hits the pillow. If your skin is oily, start with 2 drops.
It's scented, with parfum and geranium oil, which some sensitive skin doesn't love. Patch-test on your jawline for a few nights first.
